A zoning permit is required for anyone doing any construction on your property. Whether you think you need a permit or not please contact the Zoning Inspector Penny Keller-Clark at 419-649-6365 to find out. If you do not get a permit and one is needed, construction will cease until the permit is obtained.

Right-of-Way permits are required for anyone crossing the street right-of-way for construction. These can be obtained in the Village Office.

You can go to www.ccatax.ci.cleveland.oh.us to get an income tax form for Ada. Taxes are due April 15, 2010. All income tax goes thru Central Collection Agency in Cleveland.

Though the Emerald Ash Borer is no stranger to Hardin County, residents still need to be aware of the borer and its effects on local ash trees. Ash trees in Ada have exhibited signs of infestation.

The Emerald Ash Borer, or EAB, is believed to have been transported to the United States via wood packing material on cargo ships. The insect is native to Russia, China, Japan and Korea. It was first discovered in this country in 2002, when it was found in southeastern Michigan.

Section ____ Title. This regulation may be referred to as the Small Wind Energy Project Regulation.

Section _____ Purpose. The purpose of this regulation is to establish regulations for small wind energy projects in order to preserve and protect the public health and safety.
